Blended Scotch is the foundation of the whisky industry, and it is by far the world’s most popular type of whisky. Yet relatively little has been written about it – until now.

This beautiful and accessible book is the only one entirely dedicated to the subject of blended Scotch. It has been meticulously researched and authored by two of the world’s foremost whisky writers and is packed with stories and anecdotes, practical information and hundreds of colour images.

It explores many key aspects – the history, the theory and the practice of blending – and includes a guide to its assessment and appreciation. It also features a range of classic whisky cocktails and a selection of Scotland’s best-known brands and blending houses.
